Dear Sir/Madam, I am writing to formally lodge a serious complaint regarding the 4 BHK villa booked in the name of Mr. Chittaranjan Thakur at your Lonavala property for the dates 25th to 27th August 2025. This booking was made for a special reunion of six college friends meeting after decades. Unfortunately, our long-awaited gathering turned into a distressing and disappointing experience due to the extremely poor condition of the property and the clear misrepresentation on your platform. Upon arrival, we encountered the following unacceptable issues: The villa had a strong, foul odor throughout the premises. Two of the four bedrooms had severe water leakage due to heavy rain, making them uninhabitable. This forced all six of us to squeeze into the remaining two rooms. Bedsheets, pillow covers, blankets, and towels were dirty, damp, and smelled unpleasant, clearly indicating they were not washed or changed before our arrival. The toiletries provided were expired—some had manufacturing dates going back to 2021, with expiry in 2022, which poses a serious hygiene and safety concern. The photos and description provided online were entirely misleading, and did not match the actual state of the property. The booking was made based on these misrepresentations. The only positive aspect was the presence of a polite and helpless caretaker, who despite being courteous, was clearly unequipped and unsupported to manage such a situation. This entire experience amounts to gross negligence and deficiency in service, as well as misrepresentation and breach of consumer trust. As the All India Legal Head of the Consumer Redressal Forum, I take grave exception to such malpractice in the hospitality sector. I expect a prompt response within 7 days of this notice. Sincerely, Mrs. Rupali Kedari. (Advocate Highcourt) On behalf of Mr. Chittaranjan Thakur
